My Approach

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee at Axis Mundi Center for Mental Health, supervised by Elysha Martinez, LMFT #93493.

As a therapist, I bring a collaborative, trauma-informed approach that seeks to deeply listen to and honor your experience, while helping you get in touch with your innate resources for healing and empowerment. My training and approaches are diverse and draw from Internal Family Systems, somatics, psychodynamics, humanistic, feminist, and relational approaches, but the mainstays are unconditional acceptance of you and a genuine desire to be with you in your experience, especially when things are hard. My identities as Chinese American, mixed race, femme and Queer also inform the critical consciousness that I bring to clinical work.

Who I Work With

• Polyamorous, Non-Monogamous and/or Kinky People, from the questioning to the veterans, who want a knowledgeable therapist who affirms the validity of your desires, identity and choices

• Sex Workers, current and past, who likewise want an affirming and strengths-based therapist

• Empaths and Highly Sensitive People who may have been shamed and internalized a belief that there is something wrong with you

• High Achievers who wish to heal from the damaging toll of perfectionism and people-pleasing on self-esteem and relationships

How It Works

I offer weekly and biweekly telehealth services to individual and relationship therapy clients in the state of California. As an out-of-state clinician who resides in Vermont, I am not able to see clients in person. For information about my rates and availability, please send me an e-mail.
